Committed to Preparing Students for Their Futures

The Merchantville School District Guiding Principles:

  • Be responsive to the educational and developmental needs of all students and educational personnel by providing an atmosphere in which everyone can strive to meet their individual potential now and in the future.
  • Prepare students to meet and exceed the New Jersey State Learning Standards or subsequent current New Jersey State standards, utilizing a broad array of educational experiences.
  • Assist students to learn integrity, responsibility, self-control and empathy.
  • Encourage students to develop a respect for self, peers and the community.
  • Engage the Merchantville community as a whole, recognizing that an effective school/community partnership helps assure outcomes which both support our mission and benefit all Merchantville residents.
